Little Shores

About the game

Little Shores is a cozy co-op fishing game for up to 16 players online. Pick an otter, a fox, a cat, a frog or a red panda, cast from the dock or the boat, and fish the lake, the river and the open sea for more than a hundred species, some of which only come out at night. Between bites, there is an aquarium to fill, a cabin to decorate, music to play and a lighthouse that lights up at dusk. The game is listed as Les Petites Rives on Steam for now.

What you do

1. Cast, hook, hold it high

   The bobber dips and the fight is on: keep the fish inside your net as it dives, climbs and darts off with a flick of its fin. Once your catch is out of the water, your character lifts it up with both paws for the whole dock to admire.

2. Something fishy

   A carp with a mustache, a two-headed fish, another one sticking its tongue out… and one that slips on sneakers and bolts the moment it touches the grass. You’ll have to catch that one twice. Out at sea, keep an eye on the sky too: one of them flies.

3. Up to 16 on the dock

   Pick your animal (otter, fox, cat, frog or red panda), dress it up with some truly ridiculous accessories, and compare catches. Chat is automatically translated into each player’s language, so you can talk with anyone.

4. All aboard

   One at the wheel, a few passengers, fishing rods poking out in every direction. Head out to sea together to find the big fish offshore, then set course for the three little islands waiting on the horizon.

5. Between bites

   Swim, dance, bring out the ukulele, the flute, the drum or the accordion. Donate your finest catches to the village aquarium and decorate your cabin. In the evening, the lighthouse lights up and shooting stars streak across the sky.
